ex Virginia governor's criminal conviction goes up to Supreme Court for review

According to the Washington Post, the corruption conviction of  former Virginia governor Robert Mcdonnell went up on appeal all the way to the Supreme Court of the United States. He and his wife remain free on bond, pending the outcome of the appeals.

I could only pray for him and his wife. I am sure they are going through hell just thinking about federal prison because that is what federal prison is. It is a place of human humiliation and physical danger.
