NYPD Detective Sentenced to 72 months federal prison

An NYPD Detective was sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment in Federal Court by Judge Bianco for his role in a burglary gang that stole up to 8 million dollars in cash and property.

How can a detective, of all people, end up being such a thief and burglar?

It shows that people who swear to protect us can cross the line and commit crimes.

In this world, no one is immune from the potential of being a thief.
