Home Depot double dippers

NO DOUBLE DIPPING should be on their logo
Two double dippers got 30 and 28 month prison sentences for stealing from Home Depot. See story here....https://www.justice.gov/usao-nj/pr/two-new-york-men-each-sentenced-over-two-years-prison-defrauding-home-depot-through

What was their scheme? They would show a receipt and say they never got the merchandise while in fact they did receive the merchandise, or they would return the stolen merchandise for a refund.

How did the Home Depot figure that out? The article does not say.  They each have to refund $260,477.79 and  $197,632.79 which represents the money they stole.

Renauld Medard, 75, and Wesly Dieudonne, 31, will not be able to double dip in prison. If they do, they will be sent to the SHU.

The crooks won't enjoy any of it in Jail where they will live a spartan life and get only one meal
at a time. If they come back for seconds they will most likely be refused.
When they buy commissary, they will get a receipt and they will have to check their merchandise on the spot. They won't have the luxury of coming back and asking for seconds.
