A Long Island lawyer was caught with his pants down, stealing from the piggy bank of an estate trust called the Lou Bacon Trust. When he was appointed the trust had over 1 million dollars in assets. However, he looted it for his own personal gain, living the high life like a movie star. When a beneficiary wanted to see a bank statement of the trust, the lawyer, David Bodian, tricked the person by using borrowed money from a friend and put it into the trust account and then after the victim saw it, Mr. Bodian sent back the money to his friend. See story here....https://www.justice.gov/usao-edny/pr/long-island-attorney-pleads-guilty-stealing-13-million-his-trust-fund-clients

He has plead guilty to stealing 1.3 million dollars and awaits sentencing. He will also be disbarred as an attorney. Trust me, he will regret his criminal actions.

How did the beneficiaries find out? The article does not say. However, he went against the law of nature and nature bit back in the form of the Dept of Justice that prosecuted him.

What is the psychology of white collar crime? You don't have to look into today's newspapers to figure it out. It has been taught to us several thousand years ago. It says in Jeremiah 17:11, when you make wealth dishonestly, you will lose it and be proved a fool. It says in Koheles 8:11, why is a sinner emboldened to commit the crime ? Because of a false sense of security. When you do something many times over and don't get caught, you think you will never get caught. However, the wheels of justice spin slowly and one day, if not tomorrow, they will come and get you.

We are all human and we are all subject to the laws of nature. I went through the same stupidity as Mr. Bodian, making money dishonestly and then I was caught and hit very hard with a 5 year jail sentence and a 2.5 million dollar forfeiture.
