tomorrow morning we will learn the fate of one of Trumps inner circle who may be handcuffed and taken to court to hear charges from an indictment to be opened tomorrow.

telemarketers busted

"Joon H. Kim, the Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced the unsealing of a Superseding Indictment charging CHRISTOPHER WILSON, a/k/a “Eric Fields,” JACK KAVNER, a/k/a “Bob Wiley,” a/k/a “Phil Powers,” and DANIEL QUIRK, a/k/a “Lou Epstein,” a/k/a “Bill Huckabee,” a/k/a “Josh Newman,” with conspiring to commit wire fraud and money laundering.  WILSON also is charged with destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in a federal investigation.  WILSON, KAVNER, and QUIRK were arrested this morning and will be presented and arraigned this afternoon before U.S. District Judge Sidney H. Stein in Manhattan federal court.

Acting Manhattan U.S. Attorney Joon H. Kim said:  “These three defendants, together with their previously charged co-defendants, allegedly targeted the elderly in a callous telemarketing scheme.  They allegedly lured their victims into making ‘investments’ in businesses, then just stole their money.  Together with HSI and the NYPD, we will continue to investigate and prosecute all those who target victims who are vulnerable because of their age.”

According to the allegations in the Superseding Indictment[1], a Complaint filed against co-defendants, and other statements in the public record:

Beginning in at least October 2013 through at least September 2016, WILSON, KAVNER, and QUIRK operated telemarketing companies (the “Telemarketing Companies”) that engaged in a fraudulent scheme (the “Telemarketing Scheme”), by which they promised to earn victims’ (the “Victims”) money in exchange for particular Victims making an initial cash “investment” in business development, website design, grant applications, or tax preparation services.  Many Victims, the majority of whom are over 70 years old, “invested” thousands of dollars with the Telemarketing Companies, but did not earn any of the promised returns.  When Victims of the Telemarketing Scheme sought refunds, or fought credit card charges, the Telemarketing Companies provided explanations and documentation to the credit card companies falsely representing that the Victims had received the promised services.

2.5 million dollar judgment, ouch

Of all the injustices in the world, this is one for the record books.

Sitting in prison with my back against the wall, my lawyer says you better sign or you are going to get hammered. So I signed the document that says the forfeiture is 1 million to 2.5 million dollars.

Never was shown even one document to prove this amount against me. Does not matter, this is American Justice System. At the end of the day, I have a judgment against me of 2.5 million dollars.

This will be like a damacles sword on my neck the rest of my life. Every penny I make from the sale of this book will go to pay back this massive judgment against me.

Is there life after death?

We just read Genesis where it talks about the garden of eden and how man was expelled from it.
It then says that the angels are protecting it with a flaming sword that revolves. See Genesis 3:24.
According to Rabbi Michael Bernstein, MD in his book, Windows to the Soul, at page 37-38, he says that the phrase represents the pathway for the souls to the true existence in the world to come which is really the true life. If you come to think of it, we are here for a very short time. Most of the time, we are not on this planet. Does Dr. Michael Bernstein make any sense ? Is there any back up to what he is saying? Based on Gematria, the answer is a chillingly yes. The above phrase, v'ais lahat hacherev hamishapeches equals 1616. Another phrase with same number can be found in Psalms 27:13, where it says, lulay he'emanti liros bitoov Hashem, b'eretz hachaim, or "Had I not trusted in that I would see the goodness of Hashem in the land of life."  The super commentator, Rashi, says that it refers to the eternal world of the world to come, as noted in Talmud Berachos 4a. Gematria indeed confirms the insight of Dr. Michael Bernstein.

ALBANY, NEW YORK – Naisha Wiley, 35, of Schenectady, New York, was sentenced today to a three-year term of probation for stealing $10,000 in money orders from the United States Postal Service (USPS).

The announcement was made by Acting United States Attorney Grant C. Jaquith, Eileen Neff, Special Agent in Charge of the Northeast Area for the United States Postal Service, Office of the Inspector General, and Inspector in Charge Shelly A. Binkowski, United States Postal Inspection Service, Boston Division.

In pleading guilty, Wiley admitted that while working part-time as a retail clerk in Post Offices in Montgomery County in 2016 and 2017, she stole U.S. Postal Service money orders totaling $10,000.  She also admitted to stealing gift cards from the mail.

Senior United States Judge Thomas J. McAvoy also ordered Wiley to pay $10,170.00 in restitution to her victims, and complete 50 hours of community service. 

Lucky this person got probation, she could have easily gotten a prison sentence. Here's what she avoided...

my theory about the las vegas massacre

We just learned in koheles that God puts an enigma in the minds of man. There are some things in life that we never know the why. Secondly , based on hearing new stories about the killer, Mr. Paddock, I think his ultimate hate of society made him do this final goodby to mankind. You heard how he bragged out being the biggest online poker player. Perhaps he got wiped out and this was his payback to society and he tried to hit back at Las Vegas, perhaps his death wish was that if he could not win, then nobody is a winner and he tried to destroy Las Vegas in one swoop and of course, thank God, he
failed.

The memory of those he slaughtered will be remembered for the good and the memory of the evil murderer will be forever cursed.

this was the day after yom kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar when the judgment is sealed. the prayers say who will die at their destined time and who will die not at their destined time. Obviously, each and everyone of those persons whose lives were cut short were not at their destined time. This is one of the mysteries of life. The "why" we will never know. From the stories of family members of the victims, each one of the victims was a shining light on the world. Let us always remember them for good and mark the day, October 1, in the calendar as a day of rememberance and introspection.

My mother's life was also cut short when she was killed when I was only 14 years old. I always remember her as a shining light on the world.

He was not muslim, he was not black, but a typical white American. What does this tell us? That each human being can bring terror to our world.

But lets focus on the good. Lets focus on the people who saved lives and helped take the wounded to the hospitals. Plenty of good amongst a world of good and evil. But as we just said in our Yom Kippur prayers, pray for mercy, because you dont know when you will need it.

Been through a similar experience when I was ten years old, putting up posters in boro park for Dov Hikind when two Italians in a grey lincoln town car, came by and said what are you doing? one jdl guy said to them, none of your F'in business. The guy said, "what the f you said?" and pointed a rifle at us....they then took off. Dov Hikind then tells everyone, "dont worry , we have baseball bats if they come back."  Sure enough they came back, this time pointing the gun out the window and saying we will kill you F'in jews. My brother and I were hiding underneath the tire of a parked car. The rest of the guys including Hikind also went into hiding. The Italians then took off. After that, chassidim came by in a station wagon and shows us bullet holes in the back of their car and they identified that it was the Italians in the lincoln town car who shot at them. Trust me, I was traumatized by this incident and was afraid to walk the streets of New York for two weeks.

I went to the 61st Police Precint to try to identify the suspects but they had nothing on these guys.
This story occurred approximately in 1977. It was like yesterday....

The world in hebrew is called eretz, part of it is rutz, or run, you never know when you must run for your life, as we witnessed in las vegas.
