I read in the NY Post that 300 FBI agents raided yeshivas and vendors in Rockland county two weeks ago. What is happening? Is America at war with the Jews? See story here...http://www.lohud.com/story/news/local/rockland/2016/03/16/yeshiva-technology-records-raid/81808252/
As far as I can understand, the Yeshivas were supposed to purchase computers so their students can learn about computers and the internet. The government is investigating if the money went where it was supposed to go. Someone made a point that some chassidim or litvaks dont look at internet so why do you need a computer in the first place? Trust me, don't steal from the federal government, they will come after you like a pit bull and they don't let go till they extract a plea.
Based on my case, it will probably take a few years for the government to figure out exactly the money trail and if they find out if the laws were broken, they will indict people. The top people will be hit the hardest and the majority will get a slap on the wrist. I say that based on my case.
