Bail denied for Reza Zarrab

typical cell at MCC, Manhattan

According to reuters news reports,  "A U.S. judge denied bail on Thursday to a wealthy Turkish gold trader on charges he conspired to violate U.S. sanctions against Iran, rejecting the defendant's controversial proposal to hire his own guards to ensure he didn't flee the country. " Reza Zarrab will remain at MCC, Manhattan pending his trial.

The above picture is a typical cell at MCC Manhattan. Usually, there is stuff on the tables. It is a little too neat and clean. All of your belongings are in a box underneath the bunk bed.
