According to news reports,Elmhurst Dairy is shutting down, leaving 273 workers out of jobs. It is hard to believe this story in a metropolis of 20 million people we cannot save a milk plant. I mean, everyone drinks milk. There is something more to this story. Maybe the owners are selling the property for condo development. I know the feeling of the workers being laid off. I was a lawyer too who lost it all and ending up in jail. Life is a struggle. I will pray for them.
