What does tsitsis, the strands we Jews wear really represent? It represents what we are made up of. I never forget when my mother was killed in a car accident, I saw strands of her body. This is emblazoned in my brain. Now I understand tsitsis. It reminds us that we are only human, living with a strand of life....
