Where is Queen Esther in the Torah?

Queen Esther courting favor from the king
The story of Purim, that we celebrate every year, 30 days before Passover, is an amazing story of faith, belief, and overcoming tyranny. Although G-d's name is not even mentioned in the story at least on the surface reading, it is found under last letter code.  The story happened in Iran around 2500 years ago. At that time, Persia was the world power, controlling 127 nations.  The King appointed evil Haman as his top advisor. Haman craved power and money. But if there is one thing he wanted even more, that was the destruction of the Jewish people. He laid out a plan with King Achashveirosh's consent to kill all of the Jews. Mordechai heard about the plan since he worked out of the courtyard of the King and told Esther about the "Jewish" problem. Esther told Mordechai to gather all of the Jews together for fasting and praying and she would do her part in that she would plead with the King to reverse the decree. The plan worked. The evil decree was cancelled and the Jews not only survived but destroyed the evil Amalekites and took the life of Haman and his 10 sons.

This story is so important in the history of the Jewish nation that you will find Esther alluded to not only at the beginning of the Bible but at the end as well based on Gematria - Numerology. You will also find Mordechai interwined with Esther at the end of the Bible.

Myrtle Leaf

The Gematria of Esther Hamalkah, or queen Esther equals 761. The last phrase in the Torah, Leinei Kol Yisroel , or to the eyes of Israel equals exacly 761. See Deut. 34:12. What is the connection?  Her name was Haddassah which means a myrtle and the myrtle leaf has the shape of an eye as noted above. We use the myrtle leaf as part of the Lulav on succos,  She literally looked out for her people. What about Mordechai? Where do find an allusion to him? If we add to the above phrase asah Moshe or that Moses did, it comes to 1481, which is the Gematria of Mordechai and his lineage where it says in Megilas Esther, Mordechai ben Yair ben Shimi ben Kish, See Esther 2:5 . Where do we find an allusion to Esther at the beginning of the Torah? Where it says Bereishis Bara, or, when G-d created. See Genesis 1:1. This phrase equals 1116, which is exactly Keter Malchus, or the crown of Royalty. See Esther 2:17. The phrase Keter Malchus also ties into kabbalah as keter is the highest emanation and malchus is the lower and this alludes to the statement that the world was created with the ten emanations.
