This is not a buttery story. What did he do to merit such a long prison sentence? Because David Brock Lovelace used medicaire as his personal piggy bank and the government ate him for breakfast. How much did he steal? He billed medicaire 12 million and got paid approximately 2.8 million dollars. He gave illegal kickback money, he billed for non services and forged documents. Typical fraud story.
For all of his pleasure in stealing the money it will pale in comparison to his displeasure he will have when he is in the federal prison system and he will forget all of the illusory power he felt when he collected all of the money.
