Did he steal bananas? No. Thomas Hoey Jr. was convicted in stealing money from his employees profit sharing plan. Money that was supposed to go for retirement of the workers went to support the lavish lifestyle of the defendant, including international travel, limousine service, and luxury Manhattan hotels. The article says he stole $750,000.00


I looked up the name and a Thomas Hoey Jr. popped up as a banana distributor that got a 12 year sentence for drugging a lady that died during a three way sex romp. Post Script. It is the same person. He is sitting 151 months on obstruction of justice and distribution of drugs where a woman died during a sex party. According to BOP inmate locator, Hoey Jr. is holed up in MCC, Manhattan, the detention center that is off the Brooklyn Bridge. I was at that rat hole for 15 months awaiting sentencing back in 2012-2013.
