What did Mr. Nisar Sahi do to merit such a long time in federal Prison? He devised a scheme to steal from the Internal Revenue Service by filing fraudulent tax returns, using names and social security numbers of others to get refunds.
Listen world, if you are going to steal from the US Government, be prepared to sit in jail and earn 10 cents an hour and forfeit every penny you stole. So at the end of the day, when you do your final accounting, it is not worth your time. Mr. Sahi has to return over $319,712.00 back to the government that he stole. My question is this...is he a US Citizen as well? Otherwise, he may end up being deported back to Pakistan. If he is a naturalized citizen, maybe it can get revoked for fraud. A lot of Pakistanis use multiple names and passports to apply for a green card. How can I say that? Since I practiced immigration law in the past and I came across cases like that.
