According to NY Daily News, former chief of staff of former Assemblyman Boyland, Ry-Ann Herman will be sentenced next week. Although she is facing 87 months, she will do substantially less time as aided the feds in convicting Boyland who received a 14 year sentence. The paper does not say it but she probably got a 5k1 cooperation letter.

I met the former assemblyman in MDC Brooklyn last year. He told me that he turned down being an informant for the FBI. Instead, he sits in a prison cell with a 14 years sentence.
