Satmar Chasids funeral today

Yitzchok Rosenberg a'h and Chaim Parnes a'h

The two Satmar chasidim who drowned in a riptide yesterday in Miami Beach, Yitzchok Rosenberg and Chaim Parnes, had their funerals today in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, attended by many Chassidim.
Reb Rosenberg owned a lumber yard and the Rose castle. I made a concert there back in 2001 in honor of the fallen fire fighters. Even Michael Bloomberg came to my event.

In any event, this tragedy reminds me of Yom Kippur liturgy, where we say, mi ba'maym, mi ba'eish, who will die by water or who will die by fire. This was their destiny. At least they had fulfilling lives and accomplished alot in their short stay on earth. What they thought would be a vacation turned into a tragedy. The way the speaker spoke at the funeral I even felt like crying, he was so emotional. Eventhough it was in Yiddish, I still felt the penetrating words of his speech. This week's Torah reading is Emor. We say Acharei Mos Kedoshim Emor, or , after someone dies, we say kadish prayer for the person. Only after someone dies do we see how holy that person was. This applies to these two kedoshim (holy ones). In this world, you get to really know someone after they died and see their true value to the world. Look at Maimonides, when he was alive, they burned his books and when he died, he earned everyone's respect. This is the way of the world. Trust me, I see it. Now, in another light, everything happens so fast. Who would expect that these persons would leave us so fast. May Hashem comfort the family and the rest of the mourners.

As a postscript, I saw on another blog,http://dusiznies.blogspot.com/, that many Satmars are upset
how Rosenberg is buried next to the Satmar Rebbi, their holiest leader. They are upset how he was found naked in the water and upset how he was involved with the mob, laundering money back in the 1990's. Remember, a sin in secret, G-d makes it public. See Sotah 3A. In any event, death is an atonement. Who are we to judge? Maybe the riptide took off their clothing? Maybe they used the ocean as a Mikveh (ritual immersion) and that may explain why they were found naked. That is why I also wrote, Shul Wars, the fight for G-d, on amazon kindle. See....https://www.amazon.com/SHUL-TEMPLE-WARS-fight-G-d-ebook/dp/B011VARJEC
Jews are always arguing with each other, each one claiming to be right. On the other hand, how come we do not know where Moses is buried? I did a gematria of the pasuk and it equaled another phrase in the Bible about forbidding idol worship. We must balance our desire to visit a cemetery and pray and not to turn it into idol worship.

I am no stranger to tragedy as my mother was killed on the way to Toronto for Passover back in 1978.
I write about it over here.....https://www.amazon.com/Day-My-Mother-Died-Frances-ebook/dp/B014HJ38SU
