Three Charged with Sophisticated Scheme to Defraud Investors

The US Attorney for the SDNY (Southern District New York) announced charges against several individuals involved in investment scams, which basically involved lying to people to induce them to invest in phony ventures. One of the con men, Eward Durante, previously did time for the same kind of offense. This person did not learn his lesson and he will get slammed by the Judge. Mr. Durante is currently awaiting plea/trial/sentencing the notorious holding center at MCC, Manhattan, pictured above. The place is filled with waterbugs and mice. A real hell hole.
Unfortunately, I am no stranger to MCC and federal prison as I did 1316 days in seven institutions.
