who's who in Otisville

Uri Gofman

A big but humble person is in Otisville camp and his name is Uri Gofman from Cleveland, Ohio.
Articles online purport to say that he ran one of the biggest mortgage frauds in Cleveland, involving 44 million dollars worth of loans and caused a foreclosure crisis. See attached story here. They called him the mortgage fraud mastermind.

While I don't condone his past behavior, I am sure he is extremely remorseful. Perhaps greed clouded his brain. He is a good soul based on his actions. He is part of the Kosher Kitchen Staff, always serving hungry mouths food and he does it as a volunteer.

He avoids the shul politics and does not get involved in petty arguments.

He has a wife and several children that come to visit him all the way from Cleveland. I think an 8 1/2 year prison sentence is too much time to be away from his loving family.

I wish him the best and to be back with his family as soon as possible.
