According to an article in NY Times, gun sales have soared, estimated to be at around 1.6 million for the month of December. And there seems to be a contrast, every time the President announces that there will be more restrictions, more guns are bought. Sounds like the story in this week's Torah reading, where every tine they whacked a frog, more frogs appeared.

In any event, the question is this, will guns in the hand of individuals make America a safer country or a more dangerous one?

In Israel a lot of citizens have handguns and I believe it protects the people against the Arab terrorists who seek to attack them.  

I personally believe guns are extremely dangerous, especially when you have little children. Accidents do happen. They must be placed in a locked and secure place.
