Eric Bernard Mitchell of Charlotte, NC received a 3 year prison sentence for committing health care fraud. What was his crime? He fraudulently billed medicaid for services to recipients of developmental disabilities. The problem is that services were never rendered. He stole individual's identification and just billed medicaire as a piggy bank. The article does not say how he was caught. Maybe it was through an audit or someone ratted him out.
