Red Light Camera Conviction

Red light camera trial
John Bills in Federal Court

A Chicago city official named John Bills was convicted by a federal jury of accepting bribes so that he would award red light camera contracts to an Arizona Company . He will not be needing a red tie in federal prison. Only a khaki shirt and pants and a pair of black boots.

They say the bribery amount was 2 million dollars so he may face between an estimated 3 to 10 years, depending on the mood of the Judge. If he would have taken a plea and taken down others, he would have surely gotten less time.
