Two elderly Russians charged with extortion plot in Brooklyn

According to USAO, SDNY, two elderly Russians were arrested and taken into custody for plotting a murder for hire and then trying to extort the victim. The problem is that the victim was wired. To see this bizarre story, go here http://www.justice.gov/usao-sdny/pr/two-individuals-charged-manhattan-federal-court-extortion-plot

What is more disturbing is the age of the two plotters, both are 68 years old. Instead of them enjoying as senior citizens the relaxing boardwalk of Brighton Breach, they are both in the hell hole of MCC Manhattan, infested with waterbugs, rats and mice.

In my opinion, they are too old for this type of crime. MCC is a very rough place, let alone for senior citizens. There is a race to the phone line, a race to the computer to email.

One thing is for sure, where ever they do end up, the Russians keep together. I saw that in Fort Dix and Otisville. However, for these two individuals, since they are on the same case, they will probably be in different units, let alone different floors.
