Why does El Chapo want to do his time here? The article says that the prison guards keep waking him for a roll call every two hours in Mexico. See article here...http://patch.com/illinois/chicago/el-chapo-chicagos-public-enemy-no-1-seeks-plea-deal-medium-security-prison-0
But what about in American jails, they don't wake you up over night? Don't they count you every few hours? Yes, in America, you get counted overnight too but they don't wake you up, they just come by with a flashlight and shine it on you to make sure you are not dead or there is a dummy instead of you. So if you are sensitive to light, you will be woken up at midnite , 3 AM and 5 AM.
What if you sleep with the blanket over your head, is that allowed? Some guards may wake you up as they want to see your face.
