Assistant Professor of Finance sentenced to 13 months prison

According to the US Attorneys office, Northern District of  Florida, a former assistant professor of Finance was sentenced to 13 months imprisonment based on a conviction of embezzlement. James S. Doran, PHD, allegedly embezzled money in the amount of $650,000.00 that was supposed to go for a student fund at Florida State University. When the school found out about the diversion of money, the Assistant Professor returned it. He claims he was safeguarding the money from a volatile market. If he ends up in prison, he will most likely go to a camp where he can teach finance. At Otisville, classes were taught by ponzi schemers and what not.
