Spritzer and his Russian Girlfriend

New Yorkers woke up with the news that their former governor playboy, Eliot Spitzer was off to trouble again with his young Russian girlfriend, 25 years old and more than half his age. They were in some swanky $1000 a night suite when something happened behind the closed door. Perhaps they broke up and she ends up in the hospital with self inflicted cuts on her wrist. Cops came first time when she called them around 8 PM and then when they asked the ex gov what happened, he said everything was fine. Cops left but came back a second time and when they spotted bloodstains and broken glass  they got more suspicious. The girlfriend, Svetlana Travis was then taken to hospital by EMT. The news said that she told hospital staffers that Spitzer attacked her . When cops interviewed her later that night she said that Spitzer got upset when she said she is leaving back to Russia.

She then became uncooperative and may have left to Russia.

So what  really happened that night? There is his side, her side and then there is the truth.

When I was in the local Toronto jail, awaiting extradition, half the guys in jail were probably there because the girlfriends called the cops on them. In this case, being that it was the former governor, they were probably hesitant to take any action against him. The fact that she cut her wrist leads me to believe that perhaps she was drunk. A normal person does not harm himself/herself unless it was an accident.
