World's most obese man dies

According to Fox news, the world's most obese man, residing in Mexico, died after bingeing on energy drinks. The man also had the gastric  bypass surgery . At one point in his life, the heavy weight man, Andres Moreno, weighed 977 lbs, 23 lbs shy of 1000 pounds. He had a history of heart problems and diabetes. No wonder...

Just because you get the stomach surgery does not guarantee success, as noted above. I know someone else who had the surgery, Stan Mirvin, from Toronto, and died in his sleep, several years after the surgery. I met him a few days before, and he looked healthy to me.  One sunny morning Eliot Pearl announces in synagogue that Stanley Mirvin died and that he never woke up. That was really shocking to me. He was about 53 years old. Very friendly and affable person. He used to always come to shul with his grandaughter, who was mulatto. Such is life, we live one day at a time.
