Federal Judge Miriam Cedarbaum dies at 86

Judge Miriam Cederbaum, courtesy Columbia Law School

According to an article in the NY Times, Judge Miriam Cederbaum has passed away. See story here...http://www.nytimes.com/2016/02/07/nyregion/miriam-cedarbaum-86-dies-longtime-federal-judge.html?_r=0

She was the Judge who presided over Martha Stewart trial in 2004 and she sentenced Martha Stewart to five months imprisonment. As I was in federal prison, 5 months is called microwave time.

Federal Judges are a life time appointment unless they resign or are impeached. Seehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_federal_judge
