| Katie May, dead at 34 |
A former playboy model, Katie May, died of a stroke at 34 years of age. How can someone so young and beautiful simply die? It all started from a fall during a photo shoot. What does this tell us about life? That it is unpredictable and no one knows the day of death.
We see this from the Torah, where it says and no one knows Moses place of burial. See Deut. 34:6. The Rabbis extrapolate from this and say that no one knows when one will die as it is all in the plan of Hashem.
I brought you a story of a 90 year old man, Mr. Tishman, who just passed away and know you have a story of a 34 year old at the prime of her life.
I remember when I took my father to the doctor back on or about June 2001 and the doctor said he was fine and two days later, he gets a debilitating stroke.
The lesson is that when you have pain, report to your doctor who hopefully can give you the right medical advice, as noted in Exodus 21:19.
